The North Rose-Wolcott Board of Education approved its consent agenda and then approved two resolutions by roll call: appointment of a lifeguard for the aquatics program and approval of an individual for the leadership council. The motion to approve those two resolutions was made by Travis and seconded by Leslie. Recorded votes were: Tina yes, John abstain, Linda yes, Leslie yes, and Travis yes; the motion carried.
The board also approved the green-sheet resolutions presented later in the meeting, which included a resignation letter, an agreement, and the theater contract that the board authorized (see separate coverage of the theater contract). Mr. Pollin explained the theatre award and noted the district will include the resolution in capital outlay documentation for State Education Department review.
Near the end of the public session the board moved to enter executive session to discuss the employment history of an employee. The motion to enter executive session was made by John and seconded by Travis; the board voted to enter executive session and paused public business, noting only closing actions would occur after executive session.
