Berkley assessors enter executive session, approve Chapterland applications and note invoices

On Nov. 6 the Berkley Board of Assessors voted to enter executive session and not return to open session, approved complete Chapterland applications, and noted two invoices for list-and-measure and certification consulting work.
At its Nov. 6, 2024 meeting the Town of Berkley Board of Assessors voted to enter executive session at 6:01 p.m. on a motion by Member Lisa Tetreault, seconded by Clerk Jeanne Russo; the roll call vote was unanimous and the board did not return to open session.
Earlier in the meeting the board reviewed and approved Chapterland applications that were correct and complete; the minutes record that approval notifications will be sent to those applicants. Applicants whose submissions were incomplete or incorrect will be notified that corrective measures must be undertaken by them.
The board also noted two vendor invoices: $300 to Steve Mederios for list-and-measure work covering 20 parcels and $3,250 to Richard Gonsalves for final certification consulting.
The meeting was adjourned on a motion by Lisa Tetreault, seconded by Jeanne Russo, at 7:00 p.m. Minutes were recorded by Assessor Gary Hoitt.
