The council unanimously approved the March 17, 2026 minutes after a motion from Councilmember Patterson and a second from Councilmember Penn. Mayor Krause called the meeting to order at 6:31 p.m.; Councilmember Burnette was absent. The meeting adjourned at 7:23 p.m.
Assistant City Accountant Karine Brooms presented the finance department report. Lt. Hood delivered the police department report and Public Works Director Brett Day gave the public works report. The minutes record that each report was given but do not include substantive details or action items arising from those reports.
Carl Fisher, commander of American Legion Post 163, briefed the council on the Gold Star and Blue Star memorial plaque project and discussed plans for a dedication ceremony. The minutes note the update but do not record a motion, funding decision or schedule for the ceremony.
