Councilmember Penn moved to approve "the Mayor to sign any and all documents associated with the Purchase of the Adjacent Property to Robert Bridges Park," and Councilmember Barton seconded. The motion passed 5-0 with votes recorded for Terilli, Burnette, Patterson, Penn and Barton.
In a separate motion, Councilmember Patterson moved that the mayor execute the GIRMA Contribution Payment Terms; Councilmember Burnette seconded and the council approved the motion 5-0. The council later moved into executive session at 6:43 p.m. to discuss personnel matters under O.C.G.A. §50-14-3(b)(2). Mayor Debi Krause executed an affidavit affirming the closed-session subject matter fit the statutory exception for personnel, and the council adopted a resolution in open session ratifying the closed session and authorizing the mayor to file the affidavit with the official minutes. The meeting adjourned at 6:59 p.m.
