ZBA approves subdivision to add storage and recreation area for West Babylon Manor with covenants

She said the structure is intended for storage of maintenance equipment and supplies and that the applicant will screen the structure from neighbors.
After reviewing environmental and planning memos, the board adopted a SEQRA negative declaration, discussed screening and use limits for the new storage building, and approved the land division and related variances with covenants and the planning memo's four conditions. The record notes that the facility will not be used as a vehicle repair shop or industrial operation; the approval included restrictions to minimize visual and noise impacts on neighboring properties.
