Michael Pressure and his wife, Susan Pressa, appeared to legalize an existing pool permit that never received a final certificate of occupancy. Pressure said the pool house is used only for storage and has no plumbing and that the family accepts planning‑department conditions.
"...we are simply requesting permission to legally maintain what has existed for many years," Pressure said, asking the board to regularize a 2005 permit and several accessory structures.
The application requested relief that would increase the total building area to about 48.8% and reduce setbacks for accessory structures. The board reviewed planning and environmental memos, confirmed the pool house is not a living space, and asked the applicants to agree to conditions limiting accessory buildings (no plumbing, no conversion to living space, removal if in disrepair).
After hearing clarifications and the applicant's acceptance of the planning memo conditions, the board moved to approve the application with the conditions described at the hearing.
