Interim Superintendent Brett Fleischmann told the Committee of the Whole on June 23 that the district will present its annual career and technical education (CTE) plan and an accompanying board resolution for the 2026-27 school year, as required by statute and CTE regulations.
"The statutes and governing regulations for CTE require that there be an annual plan with goals, reporting structures, and then supported by the, uh, board resolution," Fleischmann said, describing the presentation as a routine, recurring summer item.
Fleischmann said these plans establish goals and reporting structures the district uses to comply with CTE requirements, and he invited questions specific to CTE planning for the coming school year. Directors did not raise substantive objections during the preview; the full board will consider the resolution at its July 14 meeting.
