Jason, speaking for the applicant, said the septic and private well have been approved and that a DOT permit is pending while noting the applicant added street trees and screening. Board members asked whether the driveway relocation tested during a site visit had in fact been implemented to save trees; Jason answered that he shifted the driveway immediately after the earlier meeting to preserve several maples. “I shifted it a little to save these,” Jason said when asked to confirm the change.
Town engineer Ron noted the board had completed required administrative and referral obligations and that, aside from the tree/driveway question and a few technical items, the application was ready for a draft resolution. The conservation board had recommended minimizing runoff and erosion through the SWIP (stormwater pollution prevention) for both construction and post‑construction phases to protect nearby streams and drainage features that feed Clo Creek.
The board voted to direct staff to prepare draft approval resolutions and to circulate outstanding technical documents, with the expectation that conservation board comments and any DOT or health‑department referrals would be incorporated before a final vote.
