Police, EMS and fire report February activity and response times to supervisors

At the March 17 meeting of the North Fayette Board of Supervisors, public safety officials submitted their monthly reports for February 2026.
Chief of Police Donald Cokus presented the police report showing 2,474 calls for service during the month, including 16 arrests, multiple listed accident, disturbance and theft categories and 224 traffic stops. Northwest EMS reported 151 total emergency and non-emergency 911 responses in February; of those, 144 were emergency calls with an average response time of 6 minutes and 45 seconds, and the highest-priority calls (84 incidents) had an average response time of 5 minutes and 54 seconds.
Fire Chief Ian Richards submitted the North Fayette Volunteer Fire Department report documenting 81 calls for service in February, of which 51 were fire-related and 30 were EMS responses. The board accepted the police, EMS and fire reports as submitted.
The reports provide routine operational data and response-time metrics that the board uses to monitor public safety staffing and resource needs.
