Township engineer details tentative 2026 resurfacing list; bids set for March and April

Township Engineer Shawn Wingrove presented LSSE’s Engineer’s Report at the March 17 meeting, providing a tentative base-bid list of road resurfacing locations, add-alternate work items, guiderail replacements and ancillary paving work intended for the township’s 2026 roads program.
Wingrove said LSSE issued utility notifications for the tentative resurfacing list and confirmed that the resurfacing project will be advertised for bids on March 18, 2026. The base-bid list includes longer stretches of Logan Road and segments of Oakdale Road, Steubenville Pike and other township streets; add alternates include additional access drives and parking-lot entrances. The report also identified a scheduled seal-coat for Robb Hill Road (Oakdale Road to McKee Road).
Separately, LSSE transmitted contract documents and technical specifications for ADA curb ramps at Pointe West to the Char-West Council of Governments; Wingrove said the bid opening for that package is expected in late April 2026. The engineer’s office recommended bond and contract administration steps consistent with township procurement.
The board accepted the Engineer’s Report and authorized staff to proceed with the planned bidding schedule and follow-up coordination.
