A public hearing and subsequent board vote on March 17 resulted in the North Fayette Township Board of Supervisors approving the transfer of a restaurant liquor license into the township for Tequileros 3, LLC to operate Bandidos Cantina & Grill at 110 Imperial Plaza Drive.
Community Planner Jonathan Brodak opened the hearing and entered the application materials into the record, including the transfer application (filed Feb. 11, 2026), proof of publication and neighbor notification letters. Chad Schneider of Caputo Law Office represented the applicants. Schneider told the board the owners—Jose Mendoza, Mauro Aguirre and Oscar Rizo—collectively operate about nine restaurants across three states and have been in the business roughly 30 years. Schneider said the Imperial Plaza location is being remodeled and that the restaurant will operate seven days a week from about 10 a.m. to 10 or 11 p.m. and employ approximately 15–20 people. “All will be RAMP certified as required by the state,” he said.
Chairman Bob Doddato moved to adopt Resolution No. 44-26 approving the transfer; Treasurer Rich Valent seconded the motion. The resolution passed on roll call with Doddato and Valent voting Yes. Vice Chairman Mark O’Donnell was absent for the meeting.
The license is coming from safekeeping; Brodak said it was formerly held in the Borough of Castle Shannon. With the board’s action, the applicant may proceed with final regulatory and licensing steps required by state and township procedures.
The board adjourned the hearing at 6:06 P.M. The licensed transfer and adoption of Resolution No. 44-26 conclude the township-level portion of approval; the restaurant remains subject to any state licensing finalizations and local code compliance inspections.
