Silver Spring Township supervisors outline 2025 road, parks and public-safety projects in budget session

Fairchild identified several anticipated capital projects, including traffic-signal installations and upgrades, Kost Road culvert realignment, a Locust & Trindle roundabout, and replacement of the Village Road bridge.
Fairchild also outlined Parks & Recreation proposals for 2025, highlighting planned trail connectivity improvements, development work at Paul Waters Park and the installation of pickleball courts. He summarized ongoing parks programs and noted that the department has received grant funding for parks work; the minutes do not specify dollar amounts or grant sources.
Public Safety Director and emergency-management coordinator William Brown reviewed his department's 2024 projects and services and described goals and initiatives for the coming year in public safety and emergency management.
