At its June 23 meeting the West Valley City Council approved several noncontroversial items by unanimous votes.
Ordinance 26-29 (SA4-2026) — The council approved a subdivision amendment to Lot 5A of an existing subdivision recorded in 2015 to eliminate utility easements beneath existing storage-unit buildings constructed in 2019. Staff explained the change would align the recorded plat with as-built conditions.
Consent agenda — The council approved all 15 items on the consent agenda, which included adoption of the International Building Codes, a Wildland Urban Interface map, a professional services agreement with Arc Sedio, service agreements with Select Health and EMI Dental, acceptance of easements and deeds, and multiple appointments and reappointments to advisory boards and commissions.
Resolution 26-83 — The council approved an amendment to the parking-structure management and use agreement that extends the term, adds West Valley Land Holding LLC as a party, and provides that management costs will be shared pro rata by users once the original term expires.
Each of these motions passed on unanimous roll calls; council members recorded yes votes in each roll call recorded by the deputy city recorder.
