Robins Planning and Zoning Commission approves two plats of survey for Robins Landing

The Robins Planning and Zoning Commission on Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2024, unanimously approved two resolutions authorizing plats of survey for the Robins Landing development, the commission’s minutes show.
Susan Forinash, engineer for Robins Landing LLC, told the commission the plats were prepared to transfer parcels to separate entities in anticipation of final platting. John Dusek of Robins Landing LLC added that Parcel A of the North Phase would be transferred to Mr. Ricklefs; Parcel A of the South Phase would be transferred to Mr. Dusek and Mr. Aossey; Parcel B of both the North and South phases would be retained by Robins Landing LLC.
The meeting opened at 5:31 p.m. at Robins City Hall with Chairperson Tim O’Hara and commissioners Vance McKinnon, Dennis Trachta and Jay Goodin present. After roll call, commissioners approved the meeting agenda on a motion by McKinnon and a second from Goodin, and later approved the minutes of the Nov. 13, 2024 meeting on a motion from Goodin and second from McKinnon; both motions carried by unanimous vote.
Jay Goodin moved to approve Resolution No. 2024-6, approving Plat of Survey 2903; Dennis Trachta seconded. The roll call vote was McKinnon — aye; Trachta — aye; Goodin — aye; O’Hara — aye. Trachta then moved to approve Resolution No. 2024-7, approving Plat of Survey 2904; McKinnon seconded and the vote was recorded as unanimous.
The minutes also record two adjournment entries that are inconsistent: one line states "Rathgaber moved to adjourn at 6:03 p.m., Goodin seconded and all voted aye," and another states "Trachta moved to adjourn at 5:39 p.m., McKinnon seconded and all votes were aye." The minutes do not reconcile the two times.
No other substantive discussion or public comment on the plats is recorded in the minutes. The commission’s minutes list Planning and Zoning Administrator Dean Helander and City Clerk Lisa Goodin as present. The minutes indicate final platting remains a future procedural step for the Robins Landing parcels.
