Josephine County approves compensation committee appointments and multiple personnel actions; one hire put on hold

Shaw explained that the Elected Officials Compensation Committee reviews comparable counties’ pay scales and makes budget-cycle recommendations; the board appointed Jodi Robertson and Maegon Brazille to that committee by a 3-0 vote. Shaw also summarized several personnel actions across departments (assessor refill, community corrections step increase, public health step increases and hires, sheriff certification increase, airports hire). The board approved the listed requisitions and personnel actions without objection, but elected to hold off on filling the Public Works Fleet Program Supervisor position pending further discussion.
