Commissioners asked for a rendering and discussed a 'not to exceed' amount so the design could be produced and returned to the Planning Commission for formal sign approval. One commissioner recommended the planning commission must review the sign itself after a rendering is available.
The DDA voted to place the museum-signage funding request on unfinished business so staff could obtain a visual rendering from the supplier and the item could be reviewed at a future Planning Commission meeting. The motion to add the item to unfinished business passed by voice vote.
