At its June 16 meeting, the Gibraltar Downtown Development Authority (DDA) took several routine actions.
The DDA moved to receive and file the DDA fiscal-year budget for 06/12/2026 after a motion and support; the action was recorded as 'receive and file.'
The DDA also approved $1,500 to pay three performers for July 4 events: DJ Tex ($500), the Pinot Gringos (a three-hour set, $600) and No Sin in Eden ($400). The payment is budgeted and was approved after a motion and second; commissioners expressed that the event is already budgeted.
Separately, the DDA approved payment of approximately $3,500 to extend a 2-inch underground natural gas line (35–40 feet) needed to complete the recently installed commercial generator at the community center. Staff said the work was completed and the extension was the only way to finish the installation.
All three motions were moved, supported and approved by voice vote; no roll-call tallies were provided in the transcript.
