The fire and safety report (Aaron) covered call volume, radio-system upgrade evaluation, recruitment, stretcher maintenance and discussions with Brian Health about ALS support and a possible county CREW model for advanced life support.
City clerk Megan Fry reviewed Independence Day logistics: six block parties (two July 3, four July 4), six permitted fireworks tents (VFW, Bethlehem Covenant Church, Riptide, Anderson Hockey, We're Really Dance, Kiwanis), the kids parade at 8:30 and the main parade at 11:00, and a 50-year time-capsule opening at 9:30. Staff reminded residents of fireworks hours and safety.
