Those conditions include limiting the use to the scope described in the application; compliance with Oneida County sign regulations (Section 9.78) and off‑street parking standards (Section 9.77) with a requirement that a minimum of 19 parking spaces be provided; downcast shielded exterior lighting if installed; screened dumpsters with recycling as required; and placement of boat staging and display within designated areas shown on the site plan.
Karen Schmeling spoke during the public portion of the hearing. After the vote the committee conferred with Tommy Ryden about parking and maintenance concerns raised in public comment; the exchange did not result in further action at that meeting. The motion to approve the CUP was made by Billy Fried and seconded by Michael Tautges; all members present voted "Aye."
Next steps: the applicant must meet the stated conditions and obtain required town, county or state permits before operating the business.
