The Clackamas County Board accepted the Clackamas Workforce Partnership (CWP) program budget for program year 2026 and advanced the federally required Infrastructure Funding Agreement (IFA) for WorkSource Clackamas to a future consent agenda.
Laura Edmunds from the Office of Economic Development and Brent Blog, interim executive director of CWP, told commissioners the workforce board had adjusted its budget to reflect the end of one‑time ARPA grants and an increase in WIOA allocations; the board’s budget was approved by CWP in June and staff said the IFA identifies cost‑sharing among one‑stop partners for shared WorkSource facility expenses.
Brent highlighted performance results and program outcomes in the last program year, including adult and dislocated worker services and the county’s role in expungement clinics and employer engagement. Commissioners asked for a clearer presentation of historical metrics; staff said they would provide year‑over‑year performance indicators in an upcoming annual report.
The board voted 5–0 to accept the budget and to advance the IFA to a future consent agenda for final approval.
What’s next: the chair will sign the IFA at a future business meeting; staff will supply the requested performance metrics to commissioners prior to final action.
