Greeneview Local board approves May financials, temporary appropriations and accepts $25,765.28 in donations

At its June 25 meeting the Greeneview Local Board of Education approved the treasurer's consent agenda, which included the May 21 minutes, May financial reports and month-end advances, the final amended certificate of estimated resources and final amended appropriations for fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, and temporary appropriations for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2027.
The board also authorized the treasurer to make advances from the general fund to other funds as needed to clear deficit balances at fiscal year-end and required the treasurer to report actual amounts at the July regular board meeting. A resolution for property tax advances was included on the agenda.
The board accepted two donations listed on the agenda: $10,765.28 from the Jamestown Area Foundation for high school media center renovations and $15,000 from Jamestown Youth Football and Cheer for supplies and locker installations at the field house, for a total of $25,765.28.
After a motion and second, the board voted to approve the treasurer's report items A–I as presented; all members present voted yes and the motion passed.
