Holly Hills schedules July 29 public meeting as South Holly Project design enters county review

Holly Hills Water and Sanitation District staff told the Board on May 20 that the South Holly Project design has been received and is now under Arapahoe County review, and that a public meeting required by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment for the funding application is tentatively scheduled for July 29, 2026.
Engineer Will Raatz reported that the Project Needs Assessment has been submitted and is under review. He said the original South Holly Project scope was 400 feet but the revised scope includes an additional 300 feet of work, bringing the project to roughly 700 feet; to avoid repeated disturbances, paving projects tied to this work will likely be paused until design and county review are complete.
Director Thomas Thomasson said Yale Trail construction is ongoing but may be behind schedule; completion remains scheduled for September though only site preparation has occurred to date. The District's Capital Improvement Plan was distributed for further discussion at a future meeting.
Director Thomasson also agreed to contact the Legion Hall to inquire about hosting the CDPHE-required public meeting. Staff will publish required notice and return to the Board with meeting logistics and any updated schedules once county review is complete.
