Town staff reported that the application record includes documentation from the U.S. Department of Agriculture listing a valid exhibitor license for wildlife and referenced DEC classifications related to dangerous animals. Staff also noted the application materials and engineers' documentation are in the record and that the planning board will review the updated existing-conditions plan next week.
The board accepted a motion to continue the hearing to the July 27 meeting, allowing the applicant to complete the planning-board step before the Zoning Board takes further action on the temporary use permit.
The request pertains to use of an existing pavilion for daytime educational programs and small daytime fundraising events while final site plans for a day program center and a proposed Wildlife Education Center are prepared. The site is along County Road 8 near State Route 96 and the Ontario Central Railroad crossing in Farmington.
