Commissioners approve Special Olympics Fun Run route and facility use pending Road Use Agreement

The group told the commissioners the roads will not be fully closed and that they have worked with the City of Jasper Parks Department on use of the Jasper Youth Sports Complex. A Road Use Agreement has been filed with the state and will be forwarded to the county Highway Department. The board approved the request pending receipt of the Road Use Agreement.
No additional conditions were recorded in the minutes; staff will process the Road Use Agreement and coordinate logistics with the Highway Department.
