County Attorney Greg Schnarr presented a preventive maintenance agreement with Messmer Mechanical for Community Corrections covering two air handlers, a mini-split, and an exhaust fan at a cost of $1,550 per year. A motion to approve the agreement was made, seconded and carried.
Weights & Measures Inspector Gary Salb requested purchasing a portable fuel dispenser calibration cart from Hancock County for $3,500. After discussion, the board approved the purchase subject to funding approval by the County Council; the motion was made, seconded and carried.
Deputy Recorder Tammy Guth and Stephen Capps requested permission to create a Facebook page for the Recorder’s Office to provide information about the Veteran Honor Rewards program, Property Fraud Alerts, and office services. The board approved the request and noted Commissioner Blessinger would be included as an administrator when available. The minutes record each motion as duly seconded and carried but do not list the names of movers and seconders or roll-call vote tallies.
Also at the meeting, broker Max Bawel of Houchens Group Insurance presented Quantify Specialty Care for infusion therapy, with embedded Food as Medicine services and estimated plan savings of $55,386 annually; the commissioners gave consensus to proceed and requested a contract for the next meeting.
