The Bradley County Commission voted to authorize the county mayor to enter into interlocal annexation agreements with the City of Cleveland for two noncontiguous properties.
Resolution 2025-52 (Item A) authorizes annexation of approximately 0.34 acres on Strawberry Lane, a parcel identified in the record as Map and Parcel 058B C 007.00 and listed as owned by Daniel L. Smith. The measure passed by an 11-1 roll-call vote; Commissioner Howard Thompson recorded the sole no vote.
Resolution 2025-53 (Item B) authorizes annexation of roughly 5.8 acres on Frontage Road (map parcels 014 055.00 and 014 056.01), listed as owned by Bruner One, LLC. That resolution passed 9-3; recorded nays were Chairman Thomas Crye, Commissioner Howard Thompson and Commissioner Bobby Goins.
Both resolutions were recorded as meeting attachments and the mayor is authorized to conclude the interlocal agreements, subject to statutory annexation processes and any required plan-of-services provisions identified in the attachments.
