The River Ridge Community Development District on Aug. 27 adopted its fiscal year 2024/25 budget and approved a companion resolution imposing special assessments.
District Manager Mr. Adams told the board that the budget included scrivener errors—specifically a Street sweeping description that required correction—and recommended amending the draft. Mrs. Adams opened the public hearing on the budget; no property owners spoke and no public emails were reported. On a motion by Mr. Blumenthal, seconded by Mr. Twombly, the board adopted Resolution 2024-07 relating to annual appropriations and the FY2024/25 budget as amended, authorizing budget amendments and providing an effective date. The motion passed unanimously among supervisors present.
Separately, District Counsel Mr. Pires recommended opening the public hearing on Resolution 2024-08, which determines benefit and imposes special assessments for FY2024/25 and certifies an assessment roll. No affected property owners spoke. The board directed deletions of all references to “Exhibit B” (Page 2 and throughout) and, on a motion by Mr. Blumenthal with a second from Mr. Twombly, adopted Resolution 2024-08 as amended.
Both resolutions were adopted at the Aug. 27 meeting with the technical amendments noted; the board did not record objections during the hearings. Materials referenced in the agenda (budget exhibits, assessment roll) were amended as directed and will be maintained with the District’s records.
