Adams County affirms Prop. 123 fast-track process to keep affordable-housing grant eligibility

Evans said county processes already met the fast-track criteria and that acting before June 30 would make the county eligible for up to $45,000 in early-adopter grant funds to advance affordable housing initiatives: "...if we make this commitment prior to the end of this month, so June 30th, the county is actually eligible for up to $45,000 of grant funds," Evans said.
Commissioners praised the preparedness of community and economic development staff and voted to approve the resolution so the county may apply for the early-adopter grant and preserve eligibility for future Prop. 123 cycles. No specific projects or funding allocations were authorized at the meeting; the action confirms procedural compliance and grant eligibility.
