Planning and Building Director Pat Toth presented three land-use items the board approved at the Jan. 7 meeting.
Rezoning application #2508-0048 (Yezek): The commission approved rezoning approximately 6.00 acres at 3393 Reno Road from A-2 (Transitional Agriculture) to R-E (Residential Estate) to allow creation and sale of a 6-acre lot; a replat will be required. The board adopted Resolution 26-02 to amend the Official County Zoning Map; the vote was unanimous.
Special Use Permit #2511-0011 (Selective Site Consultants): The commission approved a special use permitting construction, operation and maintenance of a 305-foot telecommunications tower at 3751 Nevada Road, a property currently used for agriculture with an existing residence. The Planning Commission had recommended approval subject to ten conditions; commissioners adopted Resolution 26-03 approving the permit based on the findings and the ten listed conditions. The vote was unanimous.
Rezoning application #2510-0058 (Halleluyah Place, LLC): The commission approved rezoning approximately 15.90 acres from A-2 to R-E and approximately 40.00 acres from A-2 to A-1 at 3482 Rock Creek Road to allow a lot split for mortgage purposes. The board adopted Resolution 26-04 amending the Official County Zoning Map; the vote was unanimous.
Each action was approved without recorded dissent. The approvals will require subsequent administrative steps (for example, replatting in the Yezek case and conditions compliance for the telecom permit).
