The staff member said Husmann delivered the change order and was present at the meeting to answer questions. “He is also here this morning if you guys have any questions,” the staff member said when the proposed deduct was introduced.
A trustee moved to approve the change order and another trustee seconded; the motion carried 7-0. No further discussion or public comment was recorded.
The action reduces work in the field-house contract and frees the previously budgeted funds for other uses. Trustees did not specify a new use for the $123,562 in the meeting record; that amount was described as a deduct from the approved field-house budget.
