The Village of Waukesha board approved a package of licensing and event-permit items during its meeting.
The board approved renewals for four alcohol-beverage licenses: Legend at Merrill Hills, Lilac Acres Farm, The Neighbors Bar and Grill, and Tally's Tap and Eatery. It also approved renewals of existing operator licenses (those listed in Exhibit A) and approved a separate motion to grant new operator licenses (background-checked applicants listed in the packet).
The board renewed the cigarette and tobacco license for Legend of Merrill Hills, noted as the municipality’s sole over-the-counter cigarette vendor. The Kiwanis Club (Waukesha Early Risers) received a temporary malt-beverage (beer-only) license for events at Piel’s on July 11–12 and Sept. 26–27, 2026. The board approved a July 4, 2026 fireworks permit for Legends at Merrill Hills provided the liability certificate is updated to name the Village of Waukesha as the certificate holder.
All motions related to these licenses and permits carried by voice vote with no opposition recorded.
