Waukesha — The Waukesha Utility Commission on Jan. 16 approved a developer’s agreement and an easement agreement for the Hawks Landing development, authorizing an approximately 530–535 foot water main extension to serve six new condominium buildings.
A presenter told commissioners that Saint Paul Rental Properties LLC requested the water main extension off Jill’s Drive to serve the six buildings, and that utility staff and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources had approved the project. “The developer's agreement and easement agreement are our standard agreements, and the motion is to approve both for Hawks Landing condos at no cost to the utility,” the presenter said.
Commission discussion covered the routing, connection to Garden Prairie and Valley Drive, and system-looping benefits. Staff noted the route improves the network loop and said final design details and easements were in hand for most properties; the motion carried.
