The Village of Cridersville council on June 2 approved Resolution #2516, amending several earlier appropriation resolutions and making permanent appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the fiscal year ending Dec. 31, 2025. The resolution was moved by Council member Joe Bailey and seconded by Stacey Cook; the motion passed 5–0 with Council member Dylan Lauck calling in his vote.
Fiscal Officer Darci Motter told council she had met with Stolly Insurance about the village’s renewal and said the insurer recommended increasing cyber liability coverage from $500,000 to $1,000,000; Lauck advised the village pay the regular bill now and discuss any coverage increase at the next finance meeting.
The resolution references and amends previous appropriation measures including Resolutions #2511, #2508, #2501 and #2513 and was declared an emergency on passage, per the resolution language introduced by the fiscal officer. Council did not record additional amendments to the motion during the meeting.
