The council’s utilities report said a contractor for MidWest Electric struck a water line in the Meadowbrook condominium area; residents were out of water for several hours while a private contractor made repairs. One week later a separate water service for a single residence in Meadowbrook was struck and village crews repaired it.
Administrator Jarid Kohlrieser told the council that Ohio EPA camered the village’s observation well. The EPA’s preliminary report identified several areas inside the well casing that will need attention before the well can be developed; Kohlrieser is coordinating next steps with the Ohio EPA.
