The Berkley Board of Assessors reorganized its officers at a May 28 meeting, electing Lisa Tetreault as chair, Jeanne Russo as clerk and Mark Pettey Jr as member. The session was called to order at 5:04 p.m. by Mark Pettey Jr.
The reorganization began with a motion from Jeanne Russo proposing Lisa Tetreault as chair and Mark Pettey Jr as clerk. Board members amended that motion and then rescinded it; after discussion the board approved a new motion to install Tetreault as chair, Russo as clerk and Pettey as a member. The motion passed unanimously.
The reorganization changes were recorded in the minutes and will apply to the board’s conduct of business going forward. Board members Lisa Tetreault, Jeanne Russo and Mark Pettey Jr said they plan to attend the upcoming Annual Town Meeting. The board did not record any abstentions or objections in the minutes.
The meeting minutes list Gary Hoitt as assessor and note his role in distributing meeting materials, but the officer elections involved the three named board members. The board adjourned at 6:03 p.m.
