In her remarks, Dr. Cabraw described the work as "the pleasure of my professional career," thanked school and town partners, and urged colleagues to "remember your why" as they continue the work. The committee presented tributes and many colleagues spoke to her mentorship and responsiveness to staff and families.
Administrators and committee members said they are confident in district leadership and a succession plan; Dr. Cabraw said she leaves with gratitude and looks forward to a next chapter.
