Corinth staff honored with three TAMO awards; council praises Agora events

Corinth staff were recognized at council after winning three awards from the Texas Association of Municipal Information Officers (TAMO), an entity within the Texas Municipal League.
Mr. Campbell introduced event coordinator Cassidy Head to present the awards. "We have been honored out of 711 entries, we have been awarded three," Cassidy Head said, listing a first-place Tammy Award for the one-time special event Agorasaurus (population category under 100,000), an Award of Excellence for the city's internal employee newsletter "Connect," and an Award of Excellence in the marketing category for a Keep Corinth Beautiful butterfly garden video.
Council members praised staff work on Agora events and other city programs. Councilwoman Pickkins and Councilwoman Henderson both singled out evening farmers markets and music events at Agora. Council members also noted an upcoming ribbon-cutting for an indoor pickleball facility on June 26.
The council applauded staff for the recognition and thanked the event and parks teams for their work.
