Justice Center engagement continues; staff to present final designs July 20

City staff updated the council on the Justice Center design process at the June 22 Raymore City Council meeting.
Mr. Murdoch said the city held a second engagement session on June 18 and posted the presentation and survey on the Justice Center website; attendance at the public meeting was light but online materials and a survey remain available. He said the survey would remain open through the end of the week and that large, printed drawings would be posted in the City Hall vestibule on Wednesday so in-person visitors can view the site layouts and renderings.
Mr. Murdoch told council staff and consultants PGAV and MWL will compile feedback and return a final product after the July 4 holiday; a final presentation to the city council is scheduled for July 20. He thanked staff from police, development services, communications and finance for participating in engagement events and answering participant questions.
Council members had no further questions at the time; staff indicated a council work session the following Monday would dive deeper into the site plans. No formal action was taken on the Justice Center during the June 22 meeting; council will consider the final design when presented.
