Commissioners approve two-year extension for La Lomita subdivision

The subdivision, a three-lot minor located near Douglas Hill Road northwest of Eureka, was approved in 2022; Fry told staff she needed more time to pay an estimated $23,000 in utility installation costs.
Staff recommended a two-year extension rather than the requested three-year extension, noting that one- or two-year extensions are typical for a first extension request. Commissioners moved, seconded and approved a two-year extension; the new expiration was set for July 6, 2027.
Commissioners said they had no further concerns and asked staff to notify the applicant of the approved extension.
