Tami Smith of the Planning Department presented the Findings and explained that the board's prior decisions — approval of the Amos forest dwelling application on Savage Creek Road and approval of the McMahon Trust partition application on North Applegate Road — were supported by the written findings and conditions. Staff referenced applicable state law in the McMahon review and identified conditions tied to future development activities on the property.
Commissioner Colene Martin moved to approve the Amos Appeal Findings of Fact and Decision; Commissioner Gary Richardson seconded. The motion passed on a roll call vote of 3–0. The board then approved the McMahon Trust Appeal Findings of Fact and Decision on a separate motion, which also passed 3–0.
