Recreation Director Tamra Martin said the Marine Board grant supports maintenance and operation of county boat ramps and public water access facilities; she noted the county substantially exceeds the required local match and has long partnered with the Marine Board. The board approved signing authority for the grant by a 3–0 roll call vote.
On McMullen Dam, Martin presented revisions to a proposed consent order requested by state regulators. She said the document formally acknowledges the county's efforts to address dam safety concerns and pursue funding for corrective action. Discussion focused on project funding, regulatory compliance, and continued coordination with state agencies. The board approved signing authority for the consent order and agreed to continue coordination with state regulators.
Both approvals were recorded by roll call votes of 3–0.
