Forestry presents revenue projections; department says it is self-supporting

Streeter noted that certain forestry-generated revenues are directed by Board policy to support Juvenile Justice and Veterans Services. Committee members asked about inventory measurement, seedling survival strategies, and options to liquidate non-productive properties; staff described plans to improve inventory verification and reforestation practices.
No formal action was taken on the Forestry budget at the May 28 meeting.
