The chair opened the public hearing for comment; no members of the public spoke. A commissioner moved to approve the ordinance on final reading, a second was received, and the motion carried.
The ordinance replaces the existing chapter with updated regulations for on‑site wastewater systems. County staff indicated the action moves the code into alignment with the revisions presented at prior meetings and begins the implementation phase for the updated permitting and inspection procedures.
