Residents ask for virtual meeting access and police staffing details after Pool House concert

Council President Sean Snowden replied that the borough does not have the necessary equipment to offer virtual attendance at this time and said that detailed information about police staffing and overtime is not readily available and would require a Right to Know request.
Borough Manager and Police Chief Dan Madgar reviewed the first concert/large event at the Pool House Civic Center earlier in the packet review. A comment submitted to the Pool Committee from a Vanport resident asked that concert events end by 9:00 p.m.; councilors noted that public feedback on event hours had been received.
What happens next: attendees were advised they may submit a Right to Know request for detailed police staffing and overtime records; pool events and event hours will be handled by the Pool Committee and discussed in future committee or council meetings.
