Council voted to approve Resolution 2024‑07 and authorized submission of a Commonwealth Financing Authority grant application requesting $116,268.00 for six pedestrian crosswalk systems; the application is no‑match per the packet. The manager had presented the proposed grant and recommended submission during the manager/secretary report.
Late in the meeting Council accepted the resignation of Council member Alex Sebastian, effective immediately, and moved to fill the vacancy. The council added a motion and then appointed Robert (Bob) Bickerton to serve the remainder of the term through Dec. 31, 2025. The meeting adjourned at 8:42 p.m.
