At the Oct. 22 work session, Municipal Authority representative Michael Deelo reported that a residential water-line insurance program became effective Oct. 1, 2024. Deelo also said the Authority reviewed a potential lease agreement with Marcellus Awareness Community to locate an air-quality monitor on Municipal Authority property; council received the minutes and no formal council action was taken at the work session.
The report was informational; council did not vote on the potential lease during the work session. Any lease or formal agreement would require additional action and review in a future meeting.
