Beaver Borough reviews 2025 draft budget and Liquid Fuels allocation for Market Street ADA ramps

Beaver Boroughs Finance Committee reviewed the first proposal for the 2025 draft budget at the Oct. 22 work session and discussed the potential need for a tax increase to balance the plan.
Finance Chair Amy Stettler reported the committee will bring a second proposal to the November council meeting. The Finance Manager, Andy Kennedy, was directed to prepare a detailed budget analysis for the next council meeting.
Mr. Kennedy reported an estimated Liquid Fuels allocation for 2025 of $132,853.84. Under a PennDOT agreement approved by council, about $42,626 from Liquid Fuels is identified for installation of ADA ramps on Market Street. Council members indicated the draft budget and the budget analysis will inform further discussion about tax rates at the November meeting.
