In the public comment, the participant asked for removal of a notice related to their nonprofit and for deletion of a program violation alleging nonpayment of rent, saying they have evidence they routinely paid rent early. "Asks that staff act only on substantiated allegations and not just whenever property management speaks to them," the participant told the board and asked staff to remove the program violation and the nonprofit notice.
The participant requested several records from OCHA: a Section 8 resident worksheet showing Total Tenant Payment calculations, a complete rental history for their tenancy, and a full copy of their participant file. They also asked OCHA to investigate concerns and respond according to the authority's policies and procedures.
The board and staff did not record a response in the meeting transcript. The public-comment period was followed by staff updates and program reports later in the meeting. The advisory board meets to receive updates and public feedback; the participant was invited to request a copy of the program report by email at hcv@orangecountync.gov.
