Pittsgrove adopts ordinance banning data centers in all zoning districts

The Pittsgrove Township Committee on May 27 adopted Ordinance 2026-06, “An Ordinance Amending Chapter 60 (‘Land Use’) of the Code of the Township of Pittsgrove to Define and Prohibit Data Centers in All Zoning Districts,” following a public hearing and unanimous roll-call vote.

The public hearing drew several residents who urged the Committee to bar data centers in township zoning districts. Paul Ragozin of Pittsgrove and Emily Cannon of Pittsgrove both thanked the Committee for voting against the proposed A‑1 Data Centers site during public comment.
