County Administrator Matt Springer presented five administrative resolutions and the board approved all five by roll call.
Springer described a five‑year agreement with Govwell Technologies for a cloud-based permit software that will be used by the building department, sanitary engineers, stormwater and highway engineering to standardize permitting and improve interdepartmental efficiency. The board also approved a one‑year lease renewal with the Summit and Medina Workforce Area Council of Governments for office space at 72 Public Square; authorization to accept transfer of a vehicle from the City of Wadsworth for Emergency Management Agency use in hazardous response; issuance of an RFP to begin due diligence for clerk of courts auto‑title office space; and a master lease agreement for phase three of county print and copier machines with Dex Imaging covering eight machines across probation, juvenile and domestic relations divisions.
Commissioners thanked staff for cross‑departmental collaboration on the permitting platform. The resolutions were approved and county staff will proceed with contract signing, lease administration, procurement of the transferred vehicle, issuance of the RFP and execution of the copier lease as appropriate.
Next steps: purchasing and contract execution per county procurement rules; Govwell onboarding and interdepartmental rollout will be scheduled with participating departments.
